Our Home Building Process
01 — Planning & Initial Conversation
We start by learning about your property, plans, priorities, budget, and desired timeline. If you're still finalizing plans, we'll help identify what information is needed before moving into detailed pricing.
02 — Plans, Site & Preliminary Pricing
Once architectural plans are available, we review the scope of the home and discuss preliminary selections. A site visit helps us understand earthwork, utilities, access, and other property-specific considerations that may affect construction.
03 — Detailed Proposal & Pre-Construction
With the plans, site information, and major selections established, we coordinate pricing and prepare a detailed proposal. Once the project moves forward, we finalize the contract, permitting requirements, construction schedule, and subcontractor coordination.
04 — Construction
Riverstone manages the construction process from sitework and foundation through framing, mechanical systems, insulation, finishes, and final details. We coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, materials, and communication throughout the build.
05 — Selections & Communication
Throughout construction, we'll keep you informed about progress and upcoming decisions. Client selections are coordinated along the way so materials and finishes are ready when they're needed.
06 — Completion & Move-In
As construction nears completion, we work through final details and prepare the home for turnover so you can confidently move into your new home.
